In Eastern Mediterranean University Senate's meeting dated 23 May 2016 (Ref. No. 16/401), a 'Rector Candidate Determination Committee', evaluating the applications of rector candidates and managing the  'tendency determination' process, has been formed. The committee is formed by the following senate members:
